I am a girl who lives in neutrals all winter long. When fall begins, I happily slip into a minimal color palette. However, post–Memorial Day, all I can think about are bright and fun colors. I'm looking for bold dresses and accessories to make my style feel extra fun, and I love mixing and matching to create unexpected color combinations. That's why I've had my eye on the streets of New York. What am I in search of? The hottest color trends for this summer, of course.

I dared myself to narrow it down to the top three colors, and while it was a hard decision, I'm telling you that these colorways truly are standing out among the crowds right now and have gotten me extra compliments! If you're having a fashion-person summer, you need to take a look at the pieces I found at Zara, H&M, and Nordstrom that are in these fun colorways.

Blame it on the new Barbie movie or the cultural movement of embracing ultra-femininity, but pink is back and just as hot as it was during the peak of 2003. Whether you choose to wear baby pink, hot pink, or something in between, this color deserves to have a comeback in your wardrobe (if it hasn't already yet).

Red feels like the new kid on the block right now, and I'm all about it. This bright colorway was the star on and off the runways at the most recent fashion week that I attended. Subtle pops of red came through with the use of accessories, tights, and statement dresses. If you want your outfit to scream 2023, give red a chance.

The antithesis of color will always hold weight in this world, so don't forget about your neutrals. A color palette that was once reserved in my wardrobe for dreary winters has picked up for summertime, and I'm wearing it loud and proud. Nothing says sophistication like an oatmeal-inspired outfit.
