I hardly have to explain myself when I say that Net-a-Porter is one of my favorite places to shop. More than one open tab can always be found in my browser window, mostly because I've gotten into the habit of popping into its new arrivals section in the morning to see what the latest finds are. I tell myself that it's all in the name of research for which items to put into my shopping stories, but I'd be lying if I said that it wasn't at least a little bit personally motivated. Yep, I always end up with a few new finds in my cart whenever I visit the site.

On this particular occasion, I focused my shopping spree (er, research) on the more affordable end of the luxury spectrum. While it usually requires a sizable budget, I wanted to challenge myself to source the best Net-a-Porter shopping under $250 for a few reasons. The first of which is that I have a credit from a past purchase awaiting me around the same amount but also because the retailer is surprisingly home to a number of affordable-ish brands like The Frankie Shop, Agolde, Leset, and so many more. Between beautiful basics, A+ denim, and some trendy accessories, I went through the site and found a trove of great finds, so continue on to see the best under-$250 Net-a-Porter picks available right now.

I'm already thinking about my holiday party outfits and this matching set just made it onto my list.

This shade of baby pink is a pure delight.

Ask any fashion editor and they'll confirm that these jeans fit like a dream.

It may be hard to tell here, but this is actually a rich shade of brown, not black.

If (like me), you don't have it in you to shell out a grand for the Miu Miu flats, this more affordable pair will do the trick.

I've been looking for a denim shirt like this to do a double-denim outfit with, and I think my search may be over.

The coolest miniskirt of all time (according to me).

Instead of wires, Dora Larsen's bra has soft boning for peak comfort without losing the support.

As someone who isn't into sports, a sporty "wellness" hat is right up my alley.

Agolde makes great jeans, but its tanks and bodysuits are also A+.

There are a zillion striped sweaters in the market right now, but I'm a fan of this cool cropped shape.

Wear these with white ankle socks like all the NYC girls are.

Nineties-inspired basics will always be on my shopping list.

Cool enough for compliments, simple enough for everyday wear.

I have it on good word that the sweaters from this brand are some of the softest.

Yep, flared leggings are coming back, and I'm here for it.
