The term "red carpet season" is beginning to seem like a misnomer. The reality is that the red carpet schedule is positively packed year-round, including the Oscars in March, the Met Gala and Cannes Film Festival in May, and the Venice Film Festival in August. (Oh, and don't forget the upcoming VMAs on September 12!) 

The Venice Film Festival just kicked off yesterday but has already blessed us with some majorly stylish red carpet looks. With the SAG strike keeping some actors and actresses away, models such as Bianca Balti and Anja Rubik are holding down the fort in spectacular fashion.
